Production Technology
The design was developed in Figma. Icons and illustrations in Adobe Illustrator. Interactive prototypes were assembled in InVision. The design is designed based on Apple Human Interface Guidelines for iOS, then adapted for Android. Technologies used in iOS development by Swift, MVVM, VIPER, Alamofire, SnapKit, Swinject, Bond, ReactiveCocoa, Apple Speech SDK. Android Technologies by MVVM, Dagger2, Retrofit, Glide
Design Challenge
It was difficult to resist "innovation" and "creativity", but by prioritizing the comfort of use and predictability of the interface, we managed to make an application that works exactly as the user expects.
Project Duration
The project finished in September 2021 in Moscow, and was exhibited in Moscow Business and investing meeting in October 2021.
Operation Flow
Customers can easily find the necessary asset (we created a unique classifier of business assets, and users can search by a range of parameters including full text search), get detailed information on the chosen asset (for each category, sellers fill in special fields, for instance, when placing a shopping center, a seller indicates Gross Building Area, Gross Leasable Area, and a seller of a vessel indicates the deadweight, side length and draft, which allows potential investors to quickly plunge into the asset and make an investment decision) and order a related service.
Research
The design was developed based on two sources of information. The first is the research of large Russian and international marketplaces, borrowing best practices. The second is an interview with business representatives, finding out the basic needs of the market. The design is constantly being improved, we take into account user feedback and statistics. Testing of the user interface is carried out by both special employees and all team members, which allows you to consider the product from different points of view and eliminate all minor shortcomings.
Inspiration
Banks often needs to find investors for diverse collateral assets. Portal DA for this purpose. Gradually accumulating an audience of investors ready to buy large complex assets, we realized that they might be interested not only in collateral and noncore assets of our bank, but also in assets that sell other banks and market participants, and thus we decided to transform Portal DA into a marketplace and created iOS application
Project Overview
PortalDA iOSapp Marketplace has been a Bronze winner in the Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
