Humv is a next generation engine oil container designed for durability, efficiency, and sustainability. Inspired by military vehicles, it features reinforced grip zones for secure handling and a geometric shell for impact resistance. Made from 90 percent recycled high-density polyethylene, it reduces waste while maintaining strength. Finite element analysis enabled a 20 percent weight reduction, optimizing transport. The design withstands a 2.2 meter drop test and supports 131.4 kilograms at 50 degrees Celsius, ensuring reliability in extreme conditions.

Available in one, five, and twenty liters, Humv is designed for precision pouring and high-volume applications in rugged environments.

Production Technology

Humv is produced using advanced blow molding technology, allowing for optimized material usage and structural strength. Made from 90 percent recycled HDPE, the design reduces waste while maintaining mechanical integrity. Finite element analysis was applied to enhance impact resistance and reduce weight by 20 percent. The embossed branding method replaces labels, ensuring higher recyclability and streamlined manufacturing.

Design Challenge

Balancing military-grade strength with eco-conscious engineering was the core challenge. Reducing weight by 20 percent while preserving impact resistance required extensive finite element analysis simulations. Optimizing ergonomic handling while maintaining structural rigidity posed further design refinements. Replacing adhesive labels with embossed branding demanded precision molding adjustments, resulting in improved recyclability and streamlined production.

Project Duration

The Humv project began in March 2023 in Istanbul, Turkey, and was completed in February 2024. The development process involved structural engineering research, multiple prototypes, and field testing.

Operation Flow

The Humv container ensures precise pouring, secure handling, and efficient storage. Armored grip zones provide stability and slip resistance. Optimized weight reduces fatigue. The stackable form enhances space efficiency, while the durable design ensures long-term reliability in professional use.

Research

Humv was developed with a focus on sustainability, ergonomics, and resilience. Material analysis ensured the use of recycled HDPE. Finite element analysis optimized impact resistance. Ergonomic testing refined the grip, improving user comfort. Label elimination reduced waste by 20 percent, while grip performance increased by 30 percent and impact resistance by 15 percent. The result is a packaging solution that sets a new industry standard.

Inspiration

The Humv engine oil container is inspired by the reinforced exteriors and tactical design of the Humvee, a vehicle known for military-grade durability and extreme performance. Engineered to withstand harsh environments, Humv translates off-road adaptability and structural resilience into a highly functional oil container. Its bold, angular form, ergonomic grip, and reinforced shell reflect power, control, and industrial efficiency.
