Shahuang as the main push in the series of seven Silk Road masks in Shahu tea industry, Dunhuang in Gansu Province of China is the main visual element, which skillfully combines the statue of Dunhuang flying apsaras with Chinese Wuyi rock tea. Unique Properties

This product is a joint product of Chavannes Tea and the Dunhuang Museum in China. Sha Huang is one of the seven silk road mask series products of Chavannes Tea, and China's Gansu Dunhuang is the main visual element, combining the Flying Apsaras sculptures of Dunhuang with Chinese Wuyi Rock Tea. It showcases the fusion of the Silk Road and tea culture. In our design, we use exquisite illustration envelopes and double-drawer boxes to display the refinement of the tea packaging and brand tonality.

Production Technology

The process uses gray plate material and special paper, combined with hot stamping/UV/relief printing techniques. The box is a double-drawer box with three small boxes on both sides, each containing a separate tea bag.

n this series, we need to maintain the same illustration and packaging design style as the other six Silk Road series of the tea brand. While delivering the brand value of tea.

Operation Flow

The gift box of this tea package is light and compact, and adopts the form of opposite-pull drawer packaging, which is easy to carry and collect. Gray board gift boxes and cardboard four-color printing envelopes are used, while different processes such as bronzing, UV and bump are used to highlight the temperament of packaging and the classical and mysterious beauty of the Silk Road and Chinese Dunhuang culture.

Research

The Silk Road Dunhuang Flying Apsaras Series packaging we designed for Chavannes Tea is the first of the seven series we designed for the brand. From the ancient Sanxingdui to the Terracotta Warriors of Emperor Qin Shi Huang to Dunhuang, it follows the route of the ancient Silk Road from east to west. This packaging is the Dunhuang Flying Apsaras series. In terms of craftsmanship and illustration, we have made every effort to restore the beauty of the fusion of Dunhuang murals and Chinese tea. It is not only a fusion of culture and visuals, but also a fusion of the ancient Silk Road and tea.

Inspiration

The inspiration for the packaging design of Chavannes Tea comes from the ancient Silk Road that passed through Dunhuang in China. The exquisite style of the packaging is derived from the Flying Apsaras and Buddha statues in the Dunhuang murals, which we combined with Wuyi Rock Tea. We showcase the brand colors imperial purple and the brand symbol to display the overall tone of Chavannes Tea.
