Design Challenge
It is the birthplace of Fo Shan culture with a history of more than 200 years of ceramics and sculpture industry. On-the-spot exploration in Fo Shan area found that the historical relics are not completely preserved, and the representative buildings are surrounded by modern houses. Through research and data search, and this architectural structure is integrated into the logo design.
Project Duration
The project will start in Foshan City, Guangdong Province in April 2022 and end in Foshan City, Guangdong Province in November 2022.
Operation Flow
The designer visited the local ancient buildings. After investigation, the Foshan ceramic factory building is the birthplace of history and culture, so it is the main core element symbol, and people have the strongest recognition and emotion for the ceramic factory building. Incorporate a stepped house into your logo design.

Mei Taowan is an international cultural and creative industry cluster area and a key project of Fo Shan City. Centering on the initial letter M of the word "beauty", combined with the progressive architectural features of Mei Tao Wan, The chimney that integrates the ceramic industry means that the development of Mei Tao Wan is getting higher and better, and the overall refined structure of the house symbolizes that it is a diversified and three-dimensional art space, a window facing the world, relying on the radiation of Fo Shan All over the world, the overlapping design reflects the gathering of talents. In the future, Mei Tao Wan will attract more talents and artists, and move forward step by step.
Inspiration
They wanted to establish a new visual identity, combining the architectural features of Mei Tao Wan Creative Park. Use the house as the central element. The elongated shape is characteristic of ceramic chimneys, and the house symbolizes “M”, implying an international and inclusive art space.
