Skincare for Depot Creative
The designer was commissioned to develop sustainable packaging for a mixed range of hair and skincare products. The project challenge was to use one size of packaging for three different-sized products. This required some clever internal cardboard engineering to support the products inside the single-size tube. The cardboard tubes were printed offset with black plus two spot colors, a spot UV varnish, and all over satin aqueous varnish. The lid labels were printed in two colors on a self-adhesive stock.

Unique Properties
We were commissioned to develop sustainable packaging for a mixed range of hair and skincare products. The challenge was that all products were different in size but the final packaging could only be a single size. This required some clever internal cardboard engineering to support the products inside the single size tube.

Production Technology
The single size tube for x3 different sized products was made to work for economical reasons. This was a very small run project so production efficiencies were essential.
Design Challenge
Securing a simple, cost effective variable insert.

Simple cardboard tubes sealed with a top sticker.
Inspiration
As the product heralds from Morocco we took inspiration from the familiar geometric tile patterns. This gave us a strong graphic pattern with which to work and echo across the range for strong pack architecture. The soft colour palatte is a nod to the parched colourful Moroccan buildings. Each lid is secured by an adhesive sticker.
Project Overview
Argan Life Skincare has been a Silver winner in the Packaging Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
