Design Challenge

Ministry of Culture and UNESCO cooperate with us in the early stage, and we find bearers, discuss with them, and jointly shoot exclusive videos for content construction; For the product framework, it is necessary to consider the audience groups, communication media and communication forms, and how to design and build the Internet and Non-heritage communication mode to achieve the aim of protection, record and promote the recognition and development of non-heritage culture.

Operation Flow

The ICH Encyclopedia ,China's Ministry of Culture, UNESCO and bearers built a bilingual digital knowledge base together.In the first exhibition, it shows the typical cultural contents in the form of a 'scroll' , like handicrafts, opera, ventriloquism, shadow puppets, martial arts, etc.; it shows fine columns with vivid realistic video, then users can know ICH directly and quickly; A more detailed and authoritative intro In the third part, users can click on the content card to get.

Research

ICH is a witness of human history, and a living cultural form with its inheritors practical activities. China has 1,372 ICH and 42 on the UNESCO ICH List, ranking first in the world. But the heirs and growth is not good, so Baidu has focused on the status, and uses the Internet and ICH mode to spread it. Baidu launches 38 ICH topics with 1,379 entries, and nearly 100 heirs show their CH skills with 50 million video plays,and winning high recognition and rising the public welfare awareness.

Inspiration

The growth of China's Intangible Heritage has been affected by factors such as the aging of bearers, times, loss of traditional skills and shrinking commercial value. The ICH Encyclopedia ,China's Ministry of Culture, UNESCO and bearers built a digital knowledge base together. Users know ICH and bearers by pics, videos and audios at multiple ends; build a bridge of communication between bearers and users with online registration and other ways to record ICH culture while promoting the care and transmission.
