Production Technology

This design uses the camera function of the mobile phone to select colors from the nature photos and complete the drawing of a series of illustrations with various forms of cats. The software used in the drawing process was Photoshop CC 2020.

Design Challenge

Color selection: when drawing illustrations, the designer found that the color absorbed from the photo could not well represent the main idea of the picture, so in the color selection, the color was desaturated. Composition of the picture: the selection of the content of the picture, try a lot of different species, and finally choose the intelligent cat as the protagonist; Drawing style: I also tried a wide range of small drafts on the style, and finally chose the existing style.

Project Duration

The project started in September 2020 in Hengdian and finished in January 2021 in Huainan.

This series of illustrations uphold the concept of naturalism, aiming to bring viewers the most comfortable, most close to the original nature itself.
